• Driver’s license: You must provide a valid driver’s license (Latin Alphabet) issued in your country of residence. If your driver’s license is not in Latin Alphabet, you will be required to provide an international driver’s license along with your driver’s license. An international driver’s license may be mandatory in some areas of the USA. Please verify this information with the relevant entity before travelling.
• Credit card: The reservation holder must have a valid credit card under his/her name. The credit card holder's name must be printed on the card and it must count with sufficient funds to cover the deposit guarantee. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express and/or Discover.
• Minimum age: The main driver must be at least 25 years old.
• Roundtrip airline and/or cruise tickets.
• Valid Passport.

You may pay for your reservation through our website with any of the following options:

• Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners, American Express, y/o Discover).
• Debit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo.

Please note that you may pay for your reservation with Viajemos.com using a friend’s, relative’s, or company credit card.

The credit card must be under the reservation holder’s name. Therefore, a friend or relative’s credit card may not be used for this purpose.

A cancellation fee of 18% over the prepaid value will apply. Some rental companies handle different cancellation policies such as:

Sixt: Will charge 100% of the prepaid value in case the reservation is cancelled or modified without a minimum anticipacion of 24 hours before the pick up time registered on the reservation. This penalty will also apply in case the reservation is not used (No Show).

Alamo, National & Enterprise: Will charge 100% of the prepaid value in case the reservation is cancelled or modified without a minimum anticipacion of 1 hour before the pick up time registered on the reservation. This penalty will also apply in case the reservation is not used (No Show).

Your reservation includes all taxes and fees. Please keep in mind that some taxes and fees must be paid directly at the counter.

We have over 12,000 locations throughout the country, some of which are located at airports as well as at other locations throughout the city.

We recommend for you to include the insurance while booking as insurance costs can be up to three times more expensive directly at the counter.

• Car Rental Insurance is a requirement to transit within the USA. Therefore, it will be mandatory and requested by all rental companies.

• Viajemos.com does not charge extra fees for modifying your reservation. However, please note that the rate may increase depending on the requested changes. Any rate increments will be charged by the customer service agent when processing the modification request.

In case of an accident or inconvenience during the rental, the reservation holder must contact the rental company directly and place a report. The rental company will make effective any policies included on the reservation.

Car Rental Insurance:

This mandatory policy covers liability for any damages occurred to the rental vehicle as long as these are not a consequence of improper use of the vehicle. You may include this coverage on your reservation through our website at a discounted rate.

Third Party Liability Insurance:

Viajemos.com recommends you to acquire this coverage which offers third party liability protection in case of injuries or damages caused by the rental vehicle. You may include this coverage on your reservation through our website at a discounted rate.

If your reservation includes the tank of gas, you may return the rental vehicle without refueling.

If your reservation does not include the tank of gas, you will have to refuel and return the rental vehicle with a full tank of gas or with the same amount of gas as it was at the beginning of the rental. Keep in mind that some rental companies require that the vehicle be refueled at a gas station close to the drop off location and will request a receipt as evidence.

In case of a mechanical malfunction with the rental vehicle, you must contact the rental company directly in order to request prompt assistance. Keep in mind that some rental companies include basic roadside assistance, while others offer more comprehensive coverage.

Only drivers registered on the rental agreement may drive the rental vehicle. You have the option to include additional drivers on the agreement for an additional fee, unless you reserved an “All Inclusive” rate that includes this benefit.
